Support Waldorf Enrichment For Our Students by Making A Gift Today!

Help Us Reach 100% Family Participation!

The Annual Fund Pledge Drive is a family giving campaign that raises the funds necessary to make Public Waldorf education possible at NCS by funding the specialty programs, materials for our Waldorf curriculum, enriching experiences, and campus improvements.

Donation Ask:

  • All families are asked to make a voluntary annual pledge. The suggested amount is $200/month per student to cover all costs. 100% family participation is our goal so choose the amount that works best for your family. You can make a recurring monthly donation, or a one-time lump sum contribution.

  • All contributions are greatly appreciated and help bridge the gap between what public funding pays for, and the enriching Waldorf programs we want to provide for our children at NCS. Public school funds cover only approximately 80% of the NCS operating budget.

* Annual pledges and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax ID #68-0470644

Other Ways to Donate:

Donation Advised Funds (DAFs)
DAFs are a very effective way to give to charities allowing donors set aside money to be granted to charitable organizations. You can support NCS Foundation through a Donor Advised Fund grant. When processing a DAF grant, search for Novato Charter School Foundation by Tax ID #68-0470644.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies match donations made by their employees to registered nonprofit organizations. You can ask your company if they might be able to match your donation this year. The impact of your gift to Novato Charter School Foundation could potentially be doubled!

What Your Donation Funds:

Through the funds raised from families and the community, the NCS Foundation annually grants a monetary gift to NCS to fully fund the Waldorf enrichment offered at our school, including:

  1. Salaries & benefits for our Specialty program teachers (music, handwork, movement, Spanish, & math). Specialty program materials like Violins, sheet music, organic seeds, chicken coop, Spanish books, and yarn.

  2. Waldorf curriculum & quality school supplies like Kindergarten snack, cooperative board games, pentatonic flutes, and water color supplies.

  3. Campus Improvements like Bark mulch for playgrounds, basketball court and hoops, fence upgrades, and picnic tables for outdoor lunch.

  4. Enriching school-wide and class activities like rental fees & decorations for Winter Spiral, our beloved Maypole for Spring Festival, and field trips to places like Slide Ranch & Mt. Lassen.
